There is one other hidden motive here that the Congress Critters do not think the American public is aware of; where the money will come from and where it will go. Both important factors when you talk tax revenue. Well, mostly of “IT” will come from the veterans V.A. compensation. A 100% disabled vet gets barely enough compensation to care for his family and perhaps a small Stipend for other benefits such as re-hab. This “tax” will be taking some of that money back by way of the back door. Where will it go? Good question. No details on that topic in the bill signed and passed by Obama. For years, the only way that the administration could filch any money from the military was to hit their very healthful military retirement fund. They found a way to do this by taking an “offset” from the fund when the vet applies for V.A. Comp. An illustration, when a MOH recipient ( Medal Of Honor) applies for medical attention with the Veterans’s administration, he has to forfeit the special 5% additional pension that he gets because of his valor–

One of the reasons they (Congress and Senate) have no empathy for vets is, that only less than 5% have ever worn the uniform. Only 6% have any relation presently serving. Joe Biden is the exception. His Son is in Iraq.
I have this friend, XXXX, who sends me every single conspiracy laden story she gets in her mailbox and expects me to publish it up on my veterans’ website–http://www.wesupportthevets.com. XXX is truly well-intentioned but she has a fault.
She never checks the validity of the stuff she gets.
Not even a simple “ SnopesCheck” which would kick out 75% of the ilk. I truly expect XXX to send me one that certifies that Jummy Hoffa was kidnapped by aliens.
Today, most readers are savvy enough to realize that about 90% ( maybe more) of these are just scammers designed to harvest your email addy which they in turn sell to heavy duty scammers. Somewhere I read that the going price was $.05 per address that the spammer didn’t already have. Now THERE is a qualifier if ever. The spammer will pay the bandit $.05 for the address IF THEY DO NOT ALREADY HAVE IT IN THEIR DATABASE. Hello? whats this? Trust among criminals? This term has established a rock solid place in the public lexicon. Just recently, one aspect of its importance was shown in the fact that the Department of Defense defines this term in several of its latest manuals. They take this new discipline very seriously. When seeing this term for the first time the individual may compare it to public relations or spinning. Nothing could be further from the truth. People who engage in PM are not spin doctors because they are not spinning facts. They are creating facts and then passing them off as the truth. There is a critical time element involved in this practice in order to get it right and make it work. If successful, a major untruth can be established and quickly take over the entire consciousness of the world. The most dangerous fact of this is that it can happen in a heartbeat and no concentrated research, no matter how deep can uncover the true source in time to thwart the damage it causes.
As an example, one of the most popular spins during the last national election campaign was the Swift Boat attack on Senator Kerry. This broadside hit Kerry at a critical time when public opinion required a solid reason for all of these former shipmates of the Senator to come forward and dispute his testimony of his actions during Viet Nam. Kerry was broadsided and as he defended his turf with all the facts he could muster, the other candidates went on to gather the votes of his former sponsors and constituents. The accusers came from out of nowhere and by the time anyone could get a background on the credibility factor on each, they ducked back under the rock. This was a spin. Had this action been using PM techniques, the media and Kerry’s staff would have never known where to start looking. The “Swifties” would never have been found or for that matter, positively identified.
PM thrives on the media mindset that each wire service, each news channel and each major printed media must have the story and the background-First. No time for chasing the source and the credibility factor when it comes to a good juicy slam on a politician or celebrity. Get the story on the front page of the next issue or on the breaking now segment of the talking heads. Get it on a talk show a-sap and make it an expose’ that fits with the times. When someone double checks the track that the story came from and finds zip, the writers and reporters fade to another project. There is nothing like a more sensational story to cover the dirt quickly when needed. Take as a perfect example- the movie WAG THE DOG- the movie made from the novel AMERICAN HERO by Larry Beirnhart. When Moss and Brean are discussing on how they are going to buy ten days of time for the President to get around the story of him with a girl scout in his chamber alone. Brean says “What we need is a good War!–yeah a war! Together they perpetuate a story complete with news clips of a war in Albainia. That scenario was closer to PM than most “spin” stories because they actually convinced the American public that there was a war and an American soldier being held prisoner. It was a masterpiece of mass deception. It was also an indication of how gullible the public can become when there is enough to overwhelm.

One of their known practices is to get a student that is not in the greatest credit shape and have him/her get a credible co-signer. Therein begins the trouble. Not for the student–the cosigner. If the student misses ONE single payment or is over ten days later–for any reason at all, MOHILLA will hit the cosigners TRW, Experian and any other credit reporting agency possible. MOHILLA will NOT remove this negative report no matter how hard the cosigner’s tries to get them to do this. They are inflexible and absolutely arrogant. The negative report stays on the TRW report of over eight years. To add to the problem, MOHILLA reports to the TRW credit agency TWICE with different account numbers so the cosigner now has TWO negative reports to confront. These people are bottom feeders and no one should be caught in their web.

Why does Fox even consider using U. S. Army (RET) Col David Hunt as a contributor? Hunt is known for being a loudmouth with no facts behind him. He has no control or ethics for professional journalism. He may be a Harvard graduate and and have a masters in English from ....Norwich university ( where's THAT??) but he can't express himself with dignity-- at least not to the degree that Fox should consider him as representative of their image. In his book ON THE HUNT-- Three Rivers Press, 2007 on page 128 he states, ."...I hate all Navy guys except Navy Seals ( who are really not Navy guys but more a product of special operations.)" Great quote Col!! That should sell a lot of books now and in the future. The Col who spent 29 years in the uniform and never made it past Colonel must have been passed over several times because of his mouth and lack of research into his subject. He forgets that the SEALS were the result of years of military UDT training long before the Army even coined the name special ops. Hunt is not the person to ask if McChrystal should be fired for a misquote. Hunt is not qualified. In the opinion of veterans, The colonel is not qualified to clean the latrine of McChrystal's camp.
